Course Synopsis
This 4 days short course will highlight the participants on the introduction to theory of boat drawing and lofting process.
This is followed with the theory of plug and mould development for participants better understanding. Later the participants will enlightened on the basic GRP materials for boat construction together with the knowledge of facility and tools/equipment requirements.
Finally the core activity of this course is on the mould preparation, lamination process and de-moulding process for outfitting and finishing.
Course Objective
After completing this course, the participants should be able to:
- Categorize different types of fiberglass materials and equipment.
- Identify safety and quality considerations in fiberglass construction.
